How to focus when meditating?

What you can believe, you can achieve! Mindset is everything when losing fat.
Hello everyone,

I am new to the whole meditating thing. I was wondering how I can focus whilst I'm meditating? I have used the advice to concentrate on the breathe, and that works for about 5 seconds before I'm thinking about something else again lol

What tips or tricks have worked for you? I'm really looking forward to creating more stillness in my life in 2014, so any advice you can give me would be very helpful! :)

I think your environment plays a huge factor in your meditation sessions. Try to find a place like a beach or forest where there's no traffic around. You'll be in the tranquility of nature and sharing her abundance. I find that to be the best way to create stillness and focus. :) Try that then report back to us!
